Marketing brief — sample output

Sample output — full launch brief, ready to ship

Hook #1
Opener

Most product briefs die in step two because the positioning was never written.

Hook #2
Opener

The single line of copy that turns a feature list into a launch plan — and why nobody writes it.

Hook #3
Opener

A marketing brief template is only worth saving if you can fill it in twenty minutes from an idea you just had.

Script outline
60s script
1. HOOK (0–3s): Crossfade a founder at a wall of sticky notes versus a clipboard with three blank fields — voiceover: 'The reason your launch brief takes a week is you skipped twenty minutes of positioning.'
2. THE COST (3–9s): Cut to a calendar with three missed launch dates; voiceover names the cascade — assets commissioned on the wrong frame, channels picked before the message, no internal alignment on which segment.
3. THE POSITIONING LINE (9–24s): On-screen worked example — feature → benefit → tension → positioning line. Voiceover narrates each conversion step using a real product (running shoes that 'feel like nothing' for first-month marathoners).
4. ASSET MAPPING (24–40s): Side-by-side — a brief that names the positioning line generates matched hooks, CTAs, and objection handlers in minutes. The same brief with a different framing takes a week to rework.
5. OBJECTION HANDLER (40–50s): 'But I already have a positioning doc' — voiceover addresses the case where the doc exists but isn't in the launch brief, and the cascade of misalignment that follows.
6. CTA (50–60s): On-screen: 'Type your product. Get the brief in 30 seconds.' End on the same wall of sticky notes, now covered.

Objection handler
Concern

If you're skeptical because you've seen a hundred brief templates and none of them survived contact with a real launch — fair. The difference here is that the position line is the FIRST field, not a 'you should fill this out later' note at the bottom. Every other field — the hook, the channel, the objection — is generated against that line. If the line is weak, the assets are weak, and the brief tells you so. The output is editable, not a sermon — start from the generated draft, sharpen the two lines that matter, ship the rest. Your first brief is on us.
